Office Manager:
La Luna Center (Boulder) is seeking an Office Manager – start date Aug, 2010.
La Luna Center provides treatment for individuals struggling with disordered eating and related conditions. The Office Manager provides administrative support to a (seven person) multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, nutritionists and interns. Our office manager is responsible for interacting with our customer/clients, supporting our busy staff and managing multiple aspects of the center. It is a challenging (and sometimes fun) job – and we are looking for a GREAT fit.
Duties are varied and include:
- appointment scheduling
- communicating with the treatment team
- direct customer/client service
- patient billing
- insurance billing/ claim management
- patient file management
- light housekeeping
- shopping for office supplies
- participating in our clinical weekly treatment team meetings
Applicant must:
- be able to multi task and track a LOT of details
- have excellent interpersonal skills
- have a commitment to warm and compassionate customer service
- be proactive (and cheerful) in providing support to our busy team
- be able to work independently AND as part of a team
- have strong written and verbal skills
- be self-directed AND able to ask for help when needed
- be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, and Outlook)
- undergraduate degree preferred
- previous medical/mental health office experience a plus
- previous sales experience a plus
Position Pay:
- $11/hr to start
- option for raise/ salary position after 90 day trial

Therapist Position
La Luna's Boulder Center is looking for a therapist for an entry level position 15-20 hrs/wk beginning Aug/Sept. Candidate must have graduate degree, but can be working toward licensure (LPC or Psychologist).
Position entails:
- Providing individual therapy for a case-load of clients (late adolescents/adults).
- Leading IOP groups.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Candidate must have solid clinical skills and experience working in both individual and group therapy. Prior eating disorder experience helpful.
Training opportunities, individual and group supervision provided. Pay is hourly $20 -$30/hr depending on education and experience.
La Luna Center provides integrative, holistic treatment to individuals struggling with disordered eating and body image issues.
